David's numbers off the claim support Tiz Possible Dear

Tiz Possible Dear will try to make amends for her flop as the heavy chalk when she runs in a first-level allowance race for Florida-bred fillies and mares that will serve as the feature at Gulfstream Park on Sunday.
The one-mile race drew eight horses and goes as race 9 on a 10-race card that begins at 12:50 p.m. Eastern.
Tiz Possible Dear had a big excuse for her last-place finish as the 1-2 favorite for trainer Victor Barboza in a similar race on Aug. 22, as she dwelt at the start. By the time she came out of the gate in the one-mile race, she had little chance of making any kind of impact, especially since she likes to be involved early. She did move into third at the half-mile call but unsurprisingly came up empty.
The 6-year-old daughter of Prospective is a 10-time winner with one of her victories coming in the $60,000 Millions Distaff Preview at Gulfstream Park West last year, so she is not eligible for the allowance conditions of the race. She will be running for the $12,500 claiming option available while making her first start for trainer Carlos David, who claimed her for the same price out of her last race on behalf of Mark Moshe.
Since 2018 David has a 35-percent strike rate and $3.91 ROI with claimed horses running back the first time. With those kind of numbers it is easy to imagine Tiz Possible Dear rebounding with a big effort, and she might be more aware of her surroundings with the blinkers coming off. Earlier in her 35-race career, she won three races without blinkers.
Tiz Possible Dear will break from post 4 with Miguel Vasquez riding.

Bimini came from a stalking position when she won at this level and distance July 16 for trainer Rohan Crichton. Acting on behalf of Michael Almenas, trainer Saul Matos claimed the 5-year-old daughter of Brethren out of the race. In her first start for her new connections she set the pace before tiring to finish fourth in an $8,000 starter on Aug. 28.
She will break from the outside post and could be dangerous if leading rider Edgard Zayas can ease her into a stalking position behind Papa’s Little Girl.
It is interesting to see Zayas bail on Lovelorn Lady, who will be stretching out to a middle distance for the first time for leading trainer Saffie Joseph Jr.
A daughter of Strong Mandate, Lovelorn Lady is the only 3-year-old in the field, and with just four starts, she could have considerable upside. She is coming off a runner-up finish going 6 1/2 furlongs at this level Aug. 28, where she broke on top before setting into a stalking position. She could not keep up with Khozmor, but she finished 2 3/4 lengths clear of American of Course. Khozmor is undefeated in two starts and was also impressive winning her debut for trainer Kathleen O’Connell.
Lovelorn Lady has the pedigree to handle the assignment and figures to get a nice trip from a forward position. She will break from post 3 with Edwin Gonzalez up.
