Dandy Dora, Lemon Pepper, and Tricky Temper are the main players in the $50,000 Northlands Oaks on Sunday. The 1 1/16-mile feature drew a field of nine.\nIf any of the four Alberta-breds in the field win, they would receive an extra $32,520 from the Alberta-bred bonus fund.\nDandy Dora, the highweight at 122 pounds, is the class of the field with three stakes wins, including a decisive five-length romp over Tricky Temper in the 6 1/2-furlong Chariot Chaser Handicap on June 27. Trained by Greg Tracy, it is expected her usual rider, Rickey Walcott, will put her on the lead.\nThere is other speed in the field, which should help Lemon Pepper, who is 2 for 2 in three-turn races. She posted a 4 1/4-length win over London Lass in a one-mile $32,000 optional race on July 4. She is trained by Pam McDougall.\nTrainer Kelly Grieves sent out Tricky Temper to upset Dandy Dora in the Mount Royal Handicap on June 7 but when Dandy Dora broke on top in the Chariot Chaser, Tricky Temper couldn't keep up. Tricky Temper will be stretching out to a middle distance for the first time.
