ARCADIA, Calif. – Trainer Phil D’Amato said earlier this week that he has added the multiple stakes winner Majestic Oops to his Kentucky-based stable. Majestic Oops, a 6-year-old California-bred mare, has won 9 of 36 starts and earned $1,064,808. She was previously trained by Dan Ward, who recently accepted a position as an assistant to Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert in Kentucky. Majestic Oops has won four stakes, the most recent of which was the Grade 2 Azeri Stakes at Oaklawn Park on March 7. She was third by 8 1/4 lengths behind Claret Beret in the Grade 1 Apple Blossom Handicap at Oaklawn Park on April 11. D’Amato said Majestic Oops will be pointed to stakes later in the Churchill Downs spring-summer meeting, which runs from Saturday to June 28. “We’ll give her a little spacing” between races, D’Amato said. Majestic Oops races for Medallion Racing, Evan Trommer, Sheila Regan, Agave Racing, and Sublime Racing. :: Want to learn more about handicapping and wagering?
