Curls for Girls among eight fillies and mares in sprint feature

Curls for Girls will be able to add Florida to the list of states in which she has competed following Thursday’s ninth race at Gulfstream. She is part of an eight-horse field of fillies and mares for the optional $16,000 claimer that carries first-level allowance conditions. It will be run over 6 1/2 furlongs.
Curls for Girls last raced in Pennsylvania and was placed second in a first-level allowance July 10. She’s also competed in Indiana, Kentucky, and Louisiana. Curls for Girls, a 5-year-old mare by Curlin, will break from post 2 under Tyler Gaffalione.
