$30,000 Kentucky Sires Stakes eliminations for 2-year-old trotters of both sexes were the featured races on Monday afternoon's program at Cumberland Run.
Trainer Tony Alagna won the first elim for fillies wih Local Honey (by Walner and bred by owner Brittany Farms) in 1:59 with Marvin Luna at the lines and the second elim for colts and geldings with Fly By (by Chapter Seven and bred by co-owners Al Libfeld and Marvin Katz) in 1:58 4/5 with Andy Miller in the bike. Pryde Stables Inc. is the other owner of Fly By.
Capturing the other two eliminations were gelding Memorynimagination (by Father Patrick and bred by Coyote Wynd Farms) in 1:57 2/5 for driver Anthony MacDonald, trainer Eric Patalan and owners Thestable Memrynimaginatn and Hutchison Harness LLC. and filly Bonn (by Tactical Landing and bred by Steve Stewart and Ernst Gerbaulet) in 1:57 2/5 for driver Peter Wrenn, trainer Melanie Wrenn and owners David McDuffee and L&L Devisser LLC.
