Delray Beach, a Tall Dark Stranger gelding bred by Christina Takter, Marvin Katz and Brixton Medical Inc., won his division in 1:51 3/5 for trainer Tony Dinges and owner Eric Foster, and filly Champagne Room, a daughter of Papi Rob Hanover bred by Diamond Creek Farm, delivered in 1:51 4/5 for trainer Noel Daley and owners Patricia Stable, L A Express & Sjoblom Inc. and Michael Dolan. Delray Beach returned $9.38 to win while Champagne Room returned $5.50 to win.
