OKLAHOMA CITY – Cosmic Burst dominated the $100,000 Trapeze for 2-year-old fillies Sunday at Remington Park to give her trainer, Donnie Von Hemel, a third stakes win on the final program of the meet.

Von Hemel also won the $100,000 She’s All In with Ready to Confess and the $50,000 Useeit with Okie Diva.

The Trapeze was the final race on a 12-race card that featured six stakes. It also served as the final leg of an all-stakes pick four on races 9-12 that paid $1,112.95 and had a minimum guaranteed pool of $100,000. The final pool was $217,420.

Cosmic Burst ($4.80) settled off fractions of 23.63 seconds for the opening quarter and 47.03 for the half-mile before taking over through six furlongs in 1:12.07. She increased her advantage through the stretch, and covered the mile on a fast track in a stakes-record time of 1:37.94.

“I had so much horse,” winning rider Richard Eramia said.

Cosmic Burst won by5 1/4 lengths over Rose of Malibu, while it was another 1 3/4 lengths to Stronger Than Ever in third.

Cosmic Burst was winning her third straight race behind a maiden special weight Oct. 25 at Keeneland and a first-level allowance Nov. 25 at Churchill Downs. She was making her stakes debut Sunday.

“She’s a very nice filly,” said Von Hemel, who is the all-time winningest trainer at Remington.

"This gives us momentum going into next year."

Cosmic Burst is a daughter of Violence who races for the partnership of Norma Lee Stockseth and Todd Dunn. She earned $60,000 for the win Sunday, which was her third from four starts. She has now earned $134,580.

The other winners of the all-stakes pick four were Ready to Confess ($7) in the ninth, the She’s All In; Dan the Go to Man ($36.60) in the 10th, the Jeffrey Hawk Memorial; and Greyvitos ($8) in the 11th, the Springboard Mile.
