* An Oak Tree notebook item misstated Lava Man's race record. He has won seven Grade 1 stakes since the 2004 California Cup, not six.

* A column about the accomplishments of older horses misstated the Kentucky Derby finish of Exterminator. He was first in the 1918 Derby, not third.

* An article on the Indiana Derby misstated the races in which Medici Code tested positive for excessive amounts of clenbuterol. Medici Code tested positive following the Oceanside Stakes and the La Jolla, not after his victory in the Del Mar Derby.
