* An article Friday about an injury that took Powerful Touch out of consideration for the Kentucky Derby misstated the colt's problem. He injured his right hind leg, not his right foreleg.

* Because of erroneous figures provided by the office of New York State Senator Bill Larkin, an article Friday about New York slot-machine legislation misstated the estimated proceeds from racetrack slot machines to the state's education fund. The first-year estimate is $625 million, not $56 million, and the second-year estimate is $925 million, not $83 million.
