Correction

An article Thursday about the success of owner Michael Gill and trainer Mark Shuman at Gulfstream Park misstated the disposition of a past criminal case involving Leonard Patrick, a veterinarian now used by Shuman in south Florida. The article failed to point out that a 1997 conspiracy conviction against Patrick in a case related to the death of a racehorse named Oblige was reversed in 1998, when a judge dismissed all charges against Patrick.
