Remington Park has saved the best for last. The Oklahoma City track will close out its Quarter Horse meet Saturday night with a program of eight stakes worth a collective $2.2 million.

The main event is the Grade 1, $1,083,420 Heritage Place Futurity, while Zoomin Effortlessly will attempt to win his eighth straight race in the $250,000 Remington Park Invitational Championship.

There will be 12 races Saturday. The program will have a special first post of 5 p.m. Central. It is expected to be the richest card ever run in Oklahoma.

Coronas First Diva could go favored in the Heritage Place Futurity for 2-year-olds at 350 yards. She will be seeking her third consecutive win in a streak that started in the $440,000 Oklahoma Futurity in March at Remington and continued last month with her 2 1/4-length trial romp for the Heritage Place. Duke Shults trains Coronas First Diva for his sister, Sara Morgan. James Flores has the mount from post 3.

Duponte is the other stakes winner in the field, having accounted for the $268,000 Harrah’s Futurity in March at Louisiana Downs. He won his maiden in the race. Duponte ran second in his trial for the Heritage Place in what was his first start in about two months. He will break from post 10.

Kiss My Heineken was the fastest qualifier on Day 1 of the trials for the Heritage Place, winning his 350-yard trial in 17.32 seconds May 13. The fastest qualifier on Day 2 was B Double U, in 17.46.

The horse to beat in the Grade 2, $369,550 Heritage Place Derby is Datona Doll. She is perfect in three starts and set the fastest qualifying time for the 400-yard race when she won her trial in 19.57 seconds May 15. Ricky Ramirez has the mount for trainer Trey Wood. The Heritage Place Derby will mark the stakes debut for Datona Doll.

The Remington Park Invitational will be run over 440 yards and one of the chief players in the all-star cast of 12 is Zoomin Effortlessly. He has won his last seven races in a streak that began last May at Sam Houston. Zoomin Effortlessly accounted for an allowance, and has since run in nothing but stakes, among his wins are the Refrigerator at Lone Star Park, the Championship at Sunland, and the Leo at Remington Park. He will be going for his fourth consecutive Grade 1 win Saturday against a field that includes defending champ Dashin Brown Streak and 2014 world champion Jrc Callas First.
