Conquest Wildcat has stakes options
RACE REPLAY IS NOT AVAILABLEHOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Conquest Wildcat, who was a powerful allowance-sprint winner last month at Oaklawn, could move into stakes company for his next start, according to trainer Randy Morse. Conquest Wildcat tracked the pace while covering six furlongs in a sharp 1:10.46.
Morse said Conquest Wildcat, a 3-year-old by Wildcat Heir, could run back at Oaklawn in either the $150,000 Bachelor at six furlongs April 13 or the $150,000 Northern Spur at 1 1/16 miles on April 15. Morse said another option is to await the $65,000 Golden Circle, a six-furlong race April 28 at Prairie Meadows.

Rockshaw, the local favorite for the Bachelor, worked Friday at Oaklawn, covering five furlongs in 1:00.80. Ricardo Santana Jr. has the mount, trainer Ron Moquett said.
◗ Chanteline, a romping allowance winner last month at Oaklawn, is being pointed to the $150,000 Carousel here April 8, according to trainer Steve Asmussen. The race will share a card with the $100,000 Arkansas Breeders Stakes, and Weast Hill remains on deck for that race, said trainer Brad Cox. Weast Hill on Friday night was to be honored as the 2016 Arkansas-bred of the Year.
