Lane’s End in Versailles, Ky., has released the advertised fees for the bulk of its 2018 stallion roster, including Grade 1 winner Connect, who will debut at $20,000. Connect, a son of Curlin, is one of two debuting stallions on the Lane’s End roster for the coming season, joined by Unified, a Candy Ride colt who will stand for $10,000. Fees for three of the farm’s most notable residents – Candy Ride, Quality Road, and Union Rags – will be announced at a later time, pending the results of the Breeders’ Cup. :: DRF BREEDING LIVE: Real-time coverage of breeding and sales Twirling Candy will stand for $25,000 in 2018 after being advertised at $20,000 during the most recent breeding season. The son of Candy Ride has been represented this year by Grade 2 winners Finley’sluckycharm and Danzing Candy, as well as Grade 3 winner Morticia. Lemon Drop Kid, a stalwart of the Lane’s End roster, had his fee reduced to $25,000 from $40,000. The Kingmambo horse is led in 2017 by Grade 1 winners Romantic Vision and Beach Patrol. Morning Line, whose first foals are 2-year-olds of 2017, will stand for $7,500 after previously being advertised at $10,000. A son of Tiznow, Morning Line is represented on the track by stakes winner Surrender Now and stakes-placed Morning Breez. Noble Mission, a son of Galileo whose first foals are yearlings of 2017, saw his fee decreased to $20,000 from $25,000.
