Cold Cash 123 ends The Goodbye Kisser's streak in Southwest at Zia

Cold Cash 123 put an end to The Goodbye Kisser’s four-race win streak when he caught that one by a neck in the Grade 1, $250,000 Southwest Juvenile Championship for Quarter Horses at Zia Park on Sunday. The Goodbye Kisser was a clear second, finishing 1 1/2 lengths in front of third-place finisher Prospect to the Top.

Cold Cash 123 ($21.40) rallied from fifth to win the 440-yard race in 21.29 seconds. Jose Montoya rode the winner for T. Bill Stables Inc. and trainer Dwayne Gilbreath. Cold Cash 123 earned $115,200 for his first-place finish Sunday.
