Co-features close out race week

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – Two $61,000, first-level allowances carded as races 6 and 10 anchor an 11-race Sunday card that ends another busy five-day race week at Gulfstream Park. First post is 12:30 p.m. Eastern.
Race 6 figures to have Rocket One and Smokin’ T as favorites in a field of eight 3-year-olds going 1 1/16 miles on the turf. Race 10 has Hot Peppers, Mouffy, and Fast and Flirty as the top contenders among nine 3-year-old fillies going six furlongs on the main track.
Both co-features are part of a 20-cent Rainbow 6 (races 6-11) expected to offer a gross pool guarantee of about $1.2 million, assuming the jackpot wasn’t emptied Friday or Saturday by a solo winner.
