Clement ships Stand With Mo in for turf maiden race
RACE REPLAY IS NOT AVAILABLEThe most intriguing races on the Sunday card at Gulfstream Park West are for 2-year-olds.
The fourth is a maiden special weight at a mile on turf. The full field includes half-siblings to Grade 1 winners Nereid and Restless Rider.
The featured seventh race is a $50,000 claiming sprint over six furlongs, with half of the six entrants coming off maiden wins. They are Zamfir, Tiz the Dude, and King Tarzan. Favoritism should go to two-time winner Paladio.
The fourth race drew a number of promising young runners. Stand With Mo, who is making the second start of his career, is a half-brother to Nereid, a Grade 1 winner on turf, and Sea Queen, a stakes winner who is Grade 1-placed on turf. The horses are from the mare Dowry, who was a four-time winner on the grass.
