Clement enters Disco Partner and Pure Sensation against World of Trouble

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Trainer Christophe Clement has entered his accomplished pair of turf sprinters, Disco Partner and Pure Sensation, against World of Trouble in Saturday’s Grade 3, $200,000 Troy Stakes at 5 1/2 furlongs on turf.
Disco Partner, who won the 2016 Troy and who has earned $1.4 million, finished third, 2 1/2 lengths behind World of Trouble, in the Grade 1 Jaipur on June 8 at Belmont. He does his best running from off the pace and could be aided if Pure Sensation is able to put some pressure on World of Trouble early.
Pure Sensation, an 8-year-old gelding who has earned $1.7 million, has won all three of his starts this year, including the Grade 3 Parx Dash by 4 1/4 lengths on July 6.

Disco Partner drew post 2 while Pure Sensation will break from post 3 in the six-horse field.
World of Trouble, who drew the rail, is 9 for 13 in his career, including Grade 1 victories this year in the Jaipur on turf and Carter on dirt. His turf career began here last summer when he won the Quick Call Stakes.
The very fast Rocket Heat also was entered in the Troy, as were Leinster and Wet Your Whistle, winner of the Grade 1 Highlander at Woodbine last out.
