Clavicle injury sidelines Lane Luzzi for two weeks
Jockey Lane Luzzi sustained a small fracture in his clavicle in a July 2 spill at Lone Star Park, according to his agent, Bradley White. Luzzi is expected to miss the next two weeks. White said no surgery is required.

Luzzi was thrown from his mount, Noble Egyptian, who fell a few strides into the third race. The horse walked off the track, according to the chart of the race.
Luzzi is the fourth-leading rider at Lone Star Park, which closes its meet Sunday. He is the son of the New York-based rider Mike Luzzi.
