Clarification

An article about the Arizona Racing Commission granting Turf Paradise a racing permit noted that the director of the state's racing department recommended that an owner of the track, Jerry Simms, be denied the permit. The article should have made it clear that the permit was being awarded to the corporation that owns the track, TP Racing LLC. It was not Simms's personal license, which is not up for renewal until July 2007.
