Circumference to stand at Milky Way Farm in California

Circumference, a placed runner in France, has been retired from racing due to injury and will stand the 2016 breeding season at Milky Way Farm in Temecula, Calif. for an advertised fee of $3,000.

The 3-year-old son of Galileo placed in two of his three career starts in France for earnings of $12,557, never racing at a distance shorter than 1 3/16 miles,. Andre Fabre trained the colt for owner Michael Tabor.

Bred in Ireland by Chelston Ireland, Circumference is out of the Grade 1-winning Belong to Me mare Circle of Life, whose four winners from five foals to race include Grade 1 winner Circular Quay and multiple Grade 2-placed runner The Roundhouse.

The colt is from the family of Grade 2 winner Golden Reserve and Venezuelean Group 3-placed Margin Call.
