Spot PlayHARBOR BOUND (#3, 9-2) – was beaten just four lengths last out despite trouble and still ran a 73 Beyer; well drawn and picks up leading jockey Corey Lanerie. – Byron King
Vulnerable FavoriteCOMMANDING CURVE(#10, 7-2) – figures to get bet down from his morning line after a couple close finishes, but is at risk of a wide trip; trainer Dallas Stewart also has consistently low ROIs in statistical categories. – Byron King

Race 6 |
Spot PlayTEARDROP (#3, 5-2): Seems you can absolutely, positively put a big squiggly line through that Debutante debacle for a filly about whom Asmussen spoke glowingly in the aftermath of her eye-catching debut victory. Gets Leparoux for her much-awaited return, which comes after a series of flashy works, and she comes very well-spotted for the 1x condition (as opposed to jumping right back into stakes company); gray gal to strut her stuff. – Marty McGee

Race 8 |
Spot PlayVEXED (#7, 9-2): The two turns are an obvious key for a Claiborne homebred who is bred (and has shown a desire) for more ground, at least according to what trainer Stall says. Filly who finished behind her came back to win the rich Delta Princess last weekend, and although this Golden Rod is a tough one, this has been the target all along; connections expecting a very big effort from her under the stakes-savvy Bridgmo. – Marty McGee
