Spot PlayMARCHMAN (#5, 4-1) is 0-1 on dirt but looks like he got hurt in that race, which probably was farther than he wants anyway. Lighting up CD work tab this fall. Tough post for KEE comeback last out. Brimming with upside today. - Marcus Hersh Closer Looks >> |

Spot PlayDON'T TELL SOPHIA (#1, 5-1) was behind MAGIC HOUR last time but the latter had a great set-up, loose on the lead in the slop; expect the former to move up today. The live longshot here may be SOFT WHISPER (#7, 30-1), who moved prematurely over a wet track last time; she may well be best on turf but her works this fall suggest she's better than she's shown of late. -Kenny Peck
Spot PlayDYNAMIC KNIGHT (#7, 5-1) is a former stakes horse with over $200,000 in earnings that seems to be returning to form after a second at Indiana Downs; some are unlikely to respect the quality of that runner-up finish due to it coming at a minor circuit; he also saved ground, so his race won’t rate as highly on the sheets. – Byron King
