Vulnerable FavoriteBeen another fine CD meet for Asmussen with the 2yos, but does REVOLVER (#1, 7-5) really have to do the job at first asking at such a low price when drawn to the rail? Thinking there are just too many sneaky-good-looking others from which to choose such as the Romans, Morse, or Flint firstys. We’ll take a stand against. - Marty McGee
Spot PlayCODASCO (#4, 5-1) is by little-known $2.5K stud Yesbyjimminy yet fetched $160K at a Florida 2yo in training sale two months ago. What that means is he’s a good-looking animal who was very quick. This 4.5fs dash should be right up his alley, & like those two 5fs drills for barn 2/5 with recent 2yo starters. – Marcus Hersh

Spot PlayFLATTERMEJIM (#3, 5-2): Turf makes all the difference for this honest, late-closing, win-loving, as the recent slop try around one turn can be easily forgiven. Now comes well drawn toward the hedge with C-Lan staying put; be bearing down on ‘em. – Marty McGee

Spot PlayHANDMADE (#7, 3-1): Got thru her 1x condition the way she was supposed to, wearing down a decent bunch as an odds-on choice. Now stretches out a tad to two turns while taking the requisite class raise, but that’s no hill for a climber like her. Could be leaving out of here for Sar with real momentum. – Marty McGee

Spot PlayNot sure about the win spot but at something close to morning-line odds PURGENALITY (#5, 20-1) could provide lucrative fodder for gimmicks. His standard decent turf performance would not leave him overmatched in this group of high-end N2L claimers. – Marcus Hersh
