Churchill Downs: $500,000 pick six carryover

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - There will be plenty of Kentucky Derby day money waiting for horseplayers when Churchill Downs reopens on Thursday.

Nobody hit either the pick six or super high five wagers on Saturday’s Kentucky Derby program, leaving carryovers of $514,583 in the pick six and $220,430 in the super high five.

The pick six consolation for picking five winners paid $12,251.80. The all-stakes pick four concluding with Animal Kingdom in the Derby returned $24,584.40 for $2, or $6,146.10 for the minimum bet of 50 cents. The winning combination of 8-1-7-16 also included Sassy’s Image, Aikenite and Get Stormy.
