Churchill and TVG drop lawsuit

Churchill Downs Inc. and Television Games Network have agreed to a dismissal of a lawsuit that claimed that TVG was prohibited from assigning the broadcast rights for Churchill's signals to third parties.

The dismissal has little practical effect on either of the two companies. Churchill sued TVG last year after the company assigned the rights to Churchill signals it controlled to At The Races, a British broadcasting company, but no broadcasts from Churchill's tracks were ever shown on At The Races, according to a Churchill spokeswoman, Julie Koenig Loignon.

The lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice.
