Chiselled in Glory stretching out

Chiselled in Glory, stakes-placed at 400 yards, will stretch out to 550 yards against fellow 3-year-olds in the $20,000 Super Bowl Handicap on Saturday night at Los Alamitos.

Chiselled in Glory has made one start at Los Alamitos, a second-place finish in the 400-yard Corona Chick Handicap on Nov. 11. He then finished third in the Grade 3 AQRA Turf Paradise Futurity, also at 400 yards, as the odds-on favorite.

An interesting rival Saturday night will be a Thoroughbred, Travel in Circles, who shares high weight of 124 pounds with Chiselled in Glory. Travel in Circles will be making her second career start after winning a two-furlong maiden race for California-bred fillies at Santa Anita last April 19.
