Charles Town: Yetsook sends two

Trainer George Yetsook will saddle the potent entry of Earth Power and Tienneman Square for the $75,000 Frank Gall Memorial Handicap, a seven-furlong race restricted to West Virginia-breds at Charles Town.

Earth Power has easily won the last two statebred stakes in which he has competed, including this spring's Potomac Handicap.

Tienneman Square would be an interesting longshot if he weren't coupled with Earth Power. Tienneman Square won his last two starts against statebreds and makes his second start off an extended layoff for Yetsook, who hits at a 36 percent clip with that angle.

Two other threats are Nick's Delight, who must overcome post 9 in the two-turn race, and Creative's Dream, who has been first or second in five of six starts at the distance.
