Charles Town: Rubber match

Wild Remarks and Mr. Bondsman, who have split two decisions in stakes, meet again in the $50,000 Tri-State Futurity at Charles Town.

Just four 2-year-olds entered the seven-furlong race and since two of them are maiden fillies, the Futurity is essentially a match race between the pair of males, who each have identical 2-for-3 records.

Wild Remarks has been favored both times he faced Mr. Bondsman, but finished 2 1/4 lengths behind his rival earlier this month in the Vincent Moscarelli on the West Virginia Breeders Classics program. Last month, Wild Remarks prevailed by a neck going 6 1/2 furlongs.
