Charles Town: Remainder of 2017 dates finalized
The West Virginia Racing Commission has approved the schedule at Charles Town for the second half of next year. The commission okayed racing dates for Charles Town through May at its November meeting.
Charles Town will hold 166 cards in 2017. The track will race Wednesdays through Saturdays from Jan. 11 through May 20 and then switch to a Thursday-through-Saturday format until Dec. 23.
First post will be 7 p.m. Eastern, except for Charles Town Classic Day on April 22, when the races will begin at 12:45 p.m., and the Race for the Ribbon card on Sept. 23, which will begin at 5 p.m.
