Charlatan has not worked since April 12 at Santa Anita, and Baffert said the Sunday drill will determine how he proceeds with the once-beaten 4-year-old colt.
Baffert said his other Derby Day winners Gamine (Grade 1 Derby City Distaff) and Du Jour (Grade 2 American Turf) have returned to his Santa Anita base.
