Change made in track code

The track code for races held at the Oak Tree meeting at Santa Anita will now be OSA instead of SA.

Although the change took effect Wednesday, the new track code will not appear in past performance running lines until horses with a race over the track make their next start. The Oak Tree meeting begins Wednesday and runs through Nov. 6. The track code for past performance running lines at the Santa Anita winter-spring meet that begins on Dec. 26 will remain SA.

The new OSA track code will not affect the cumulative information displayed in a horse's past performance career box, which will continue to show all of a horse's races at Santa Anita no matter when they are run. Similarly, jockey-trainer combinations at Santa Anita will continue to include all races. The new OSA track code will not apply to workouts, which will remain SA for any workout at Santa Anita.
