Catalog now online for Carter Sales Co. Oklahoma auction

The catalog for the 2017 Carter Sales Co. OKC summer sale of yearlings and horses of racing age is now online, with 88 entries.

The auction will take place Sunday, Aug. 27, at the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds Sales Arena in Oklahoma City.

Graduates of the sale are eligible for a $25,000 bonus if they win the $100,000 Clever Trevor Stakes at Remington Park. Juveniles offered in this year’s sale will be eligible for the race during the upcoming meet on Nov. 3, while yearlings will be able to compete for the purse in 2018.

The catalog includes 73 yearlings and 15 juveniles bred in Oklahoma and Kentucky.

Stallions represented by their first crops of foals in the catalog include Apriority, Cross Traffic, Flashback, Mister Lucky Cat, Mucho Macho Man, and Revolutionary. First-crop juvenile sires with entries in the sale include Alternation and Take Charge Indy.
