Catalog of F-T July racing-age sale available

The catalog for the 2016 Fasig-Tipton July selected horses of racing age sale is now available online, with 100 entries and more expected through supplemental nominations.

The auction will be held Monday, July 11 in Lexington, Ky., beginning at 5 p.m. Eastern, followed the next day by the Fasig-Tipton July selected yearling sale, starting at 10 a.m.

Nominations to the horses of racing age sale will be accepted until sale time, with updates being posted on the Fasig-Tipton website.

“Now in its fourth year, this auction has gained a strong foothold with both buyers and sellers,” said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning. “Our best advertisement, however, is the strength of our graduates. The sale has produced 25 percent stakes horses and earners of more than $11.5 million to date, including last year’s Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint champion Wavell Avenue.”

Included in this year’s catalog is the dispersal of Eutrophia Farm, which consists of mares and foals, yearlings, 2-year-olds and horss of racing age.

Print copies of the horses of racing age sale catalog will be available on the sales grounds by July 8.
