Catalog for Barretts fall sale now online

The catalog for the 2017 Barretts fall sale of yearlings and horses of racing age is now online, with 264 horses on offer, prior to supplemental entries.

The auction will take place Tuesday, Oct. 17, at the Finish Line Sports Grill in Pomona, Calif., beginning at 11 a.m. Pacific. This year’s catalog features 213 yearlings, 35 broodmares, nine weanlings, and seven unraced juveniles.

Stallions whose first crops of yearlings are represented in the catalog include Boisterous, Can the Man, Gervinho, Goldencents, Magician, Mucho Macho Man, Noble Mission, Real Solution, and Revolutionary.

First-year covering sires with pregnant mares in the catalog include Metaboss and Upstart.
