HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – Castle Chaos will scratch from Saturday’s Grade 2 Gulfstream Park Mile and instead run in Saturday’s $150,000 Stymie Stakes at Aqueduct.
Castle Chaos is coming out of a nose defeat to Tumbarumba in the Grade 3 Fred Hooper at Gulfstream on Jan. 27. Prior to that, he finished third, behind Hoist the Gold and Senor Buscador in the Grade 2 Cigar Mile at Aqueduct.
Castle Chaos had drawn the rail for the Gulfstream Park Mile.
“We thought it would be a little bit easier spot,” trained Robert Falcone Jr. said of the Stymie, which was scheduled to be drawn Wednesday. “We didn’t love [drawing] the one post. We’ll get a second chance. If we get it here, it is what it is.”
Change of Command turned out
Change of Command, 11th as the second choice in the Grade 3 Sam F. Davis at Tampa Bay Downs on Feb. 10, has been turned out for 60 days, trainer Shug McGaughey said Wednesday.

Change of Command, who had won two straight races at Gulfstream before the Sam Davis, was an up-close presence in the Sam Davis until the real running started and he began to retreat. McGaughey didn’t indicate there was a specific physical issue with the horse.
“Something caused him to stop like that, so we just gave him some time,” McGaughey said.
