Carryover of $178K Sunday at Santa Anita

ARCADIA, Calif. For the third time in the last five days, no one hit the pick six on Saturday at Santa Anita, leading to a one-day carryover of $178,390.20 heading into Sunday's races.

There is a nine-race card at Santa Anita on Sunday, so the pick six will begin with the fourth race, with a post time of 2:03 Pacific.

The day's feature is the Grade 2, $150,000 El Encino Stakes for 4-year-old fillies, featuring Wonder Lady Anne L, the winner of last year's Coaching Club American Oaks. She, however, is making her first start since Saratoga. Trainer Bobby Frankel has two strong chances in the race with recent winners Sugar Shake and Cantabria.

There are only six runners in the El Encino, the day's eighth race, but the rest of the card is filled with deep, contentious fields. The fifth and ninth races appear the most wide-open in the pick six sequence.
