The sale will be held on the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton. CTBA general manager Doug Burge said in a text message that the sale date was moved to accommodate the stabling of horses.
The 2021 sale saw 92 horses sell for an average of $9,977, a considerable increase from the 2020 sale average of $7,217. The CTBA said last summer that the 2021 average was the highest since 2015.
