Uptown Rythem, a multiple winner by Champion Sprinter and sire of sires Speightstown, has been relocated to stand at Rancho San Miguel in San Miguel, California for the 2026 breeding season. His fee is $1,500, with a live foal guarantee. The 14-year-old stallion previously stood within the state at Harris Farms. He is the property of C Punch Ranch Inc., an ownership group which has been breeding horses in California for more than four decades, and which is consistently ranked among the top 20 Thoroughbred breeders in the state. Sold for $220,000 as a Keeneland November weanling, Uptown Rythem won a pair of six-furlong dirt sprints at Santa Anita Park. He retired to stud at Harris Farms prior to the 2017 breeding season. He has sired seven winners to date; five have won multiple races, led by the $140,800-earner Rhythem On Stage. Despite his modest-sized foal crops, his Average Earnings Index is among the best in California, at 1.19. Produced by the Unbridled’s Song mare Listen to My Song, his immediate family members include 2025 Blue Grass Stakes (G1) winner Burnham Square. “As a fast, good-looking son of Speightstown, Uptown Rythem offers value for savvy mare owners who are aiming to compete in California’s lucrative sprint program,” said Rancho San Miguel owner Tom Clark. “We believe his brightest days as a sire are ahead.” Uptown Rythem is available for inspection at Rancho San Miguel.
