Caleb's Posse among six chosen for Oklahoma Horse Racing Hall of Fame

Caleb’s Posse, the winner of the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile in 2011, will be among six inductees into the Oklahoma Horse Racing Hall of Fame on Dec. 15 at Remington Park.
Others set to enter the Hall are broadcaster Chris Lincoln, trainer Joe Offolter, jockey Luis Quinonez, breeder C.R. Trout and multiple stakes winner She’s All In. They will be feted between races on a card that will kick-start the final weekend of the meet at Remington.
Caleb’s Posse was a stakes winner at Remington at 2 and raced for the Oklahoma-based partnership of the late Don McNeill and Everett Dobson. He was trained by Oklahoma resident Donnie Von Hemel.
Von Hemel also trained She’s All In, a millionaire bred in Oklahoma by Robert Zoellner, who raced the mare. Quinonez is one of only three riders to compile more than 1,000 wins at Remington, according to a release from the track. Quinonez is a career winner of more than 3,500 races.
Trout, who also is an owner and trainer, bred and raced Grade 1 winner Shotgun Gulch and Grade 3 Oklahoma Derby winner Shotgun Kowboy. Offolter is one of only three trainers to have won more than 500 Remington races, according to the track. Lincoln, based in Tulsa, Okla., hosted racing programs for ESPN.
