Bye Bye Bobby went over $500,000 in earnings on Saturday night when he darted to a 1 3/4-length victory over Presidential in the $200,000 Downs at Albuquerque Handicap in New Mexico.
It was another neck back in third to Truth Seeker.
The 1 1/8-mile race for 3-year-olds and up is one of the highlights of the meet.
Bye Bye Bobby ($7.20) invaded following a sixth-place finish in the Grade 1 Awesome Again at Santa Anita. He tracked the pace set by Bigfoot City, who took the field through an opening quarter in 24.81 seconds, a half-mile in 47.70 seconds and six furlongs in 1:12.28. Bye Bye Bobby moved to the fore from there, and went on to cover the distance on a fast track in 1:49.68.
Tracy Hebert was aboard the winner for B4 Farms and trainer Todd Fincher.

Bye Bye Bobby earned $108,000 for the win to lift his career earnings to $507,352. The son of Quality Road has a record of six wins from 17 starts, with four of his victories coming in stakes races.
Arham, the favorite who was coming off a win in the Los Alamitos Special, finished fifth Saturday.
Bye Bye Bobby had spent the summer in Southern California after being based in New Mexico. During his time out of state he placed in two stakes at Del Mar, the Pat O'Brien and Cougar 11.
