Our multiple Belmont Park gimmick Pix last week resulted in one exacta and two superfecta payoffs, which is faint praise for our prescience but still not bad if you splurged a bit. Overall, 14 BreezeFigs maiden 2-year-olds won last week, several kicking off BreezeFigs gimmicks, at: Arlington, Belmont (two, including a BreezeFigs trifecta), Churchill (three, including BreezeFigs exacta), Delaware, Gulfstream (BreezeFigs exacta), Laurel (two, including a BreezeFigs exacta), Los Alamitos (two, including a BreezeFigs exacta), Louisiana Downs, and Parx (a BreezeFigs trifecta). Saturday's card is splendid in opportunities, and one stands out as a potential key race, see below. Good luck!

Here’s Saturday’s Pick:
Santa Anita Park, 3rd Race, Maiden Special Weight, 6 ½ Furlongs (Dirt)
They’re going to be all over Instilled Regard, a nine-over-Par Group 1 number at OBSMAR who got pipped in his debut by American Pharoah’s little brother while showing that his 25.84 foot stride length (SL) at the sale (1.34 feet longer than average that day) was legit. But also in here is Mourinho, who is making his debut after chalking up a seven-over-Par Group 1 ticket on a different day at the same sale with a 24.35 foot SL that was 1.35 feet longer than average. Oh, both of these kids worked a quarter mile, so they are virtually even here. At OBSAPR, Peace also went a quarter mile and comes into his debut with a three-over-Par Group 1 profile off a 24.96 foot SL, which was a foot and an eighth longer that average. Alternate Rhythm looks overmatched in his second start though his even-Par Group 2 performance at OBSAPR featured a slightly below average 23.40 foot SL at a furlong. This one comes down to impressions of what might happen if this were a clean race with all the factors even, and in that case we’d take Mourinho as the key and straight play here with the Instilled Regard and Peace definitely in the mix.
