BreezeFigs Quick-Pix, Saturday, September 1st
We sort of stunk out the joint last week with our play at Del Mar, but that was a tough, and key race. There are several others on Saturdays card just like it, including one each at Del Mar and Arlington, two at Saratoga (pricey buys and buy-backs included) and a few at Calder (where there are nothing by races for 2-year-olds, including maiden and stakes). In fact, there are 23 maiden races at 15 tracks where BreezeFigs horses filled will give you an edge in handicapping.
There were 11 BreezeFigs maiden winners between Sunday and Thursday that you could have picked from our cards, including three consecutive races at Saratoga on Thursday (two exactas) by following our tips. Remember, keep stride length (SL) in mind when handicapping from the BreezeFigs sheet and take advantage of all the tips that we provide on those sheets as well.

Calder, , Maiden Special, 6 Furlongs
This race attractec three BreezeFigs horses that have started and a Group 2 firster who looks very intriguing. Of the ones whove started, Tripplite is likely to get the most action and looks like a solid bet. He had a super-long SL at OBSFEB, almost two feet above average, and he was badly compromised at the start in his debut, but rallied sharply to finish second in a key race. He should be coupled with firster Guadalcanal, who comes out of OBSAPR with a good three-over-Par, Group 2, BreezeFig and above-average SL. Extreme Frolic and Highly Honored could easily fill out the gimmicks.
Albuquerque, , Maiden Special, 5 ½ Furlongs
You will probably get no bargain by playing Rocket Included here, whos got a clever outfit behind him and comes into his debut sporting steady works following a five-over-Par, Group 1 BreezeFig rating at two furlongs at OBSAPR. Short field, short odds, short walk to cash the bet.
