BreezeFigs Quick-Pix Saturday, October 31, 2020 by Bob Fierro & Jay Kilgore

In the spirit of Hallowe’en, “Boo!” To review the results of our Pix last week, “booooooooooo!” One scratch and two up the track. Overall, though, it was a pretty good week for BreezeFigs maidens. Ten juveniles won at Belmont (two, including a BreezeFigs exacta); Churchill (two), Finger Lakes, Keeneland (two, including a BreezeFigs exacta), Monmouth, Parx (BreezeFigs trifecta) and Woodbine. The 3-year-olds chalked up half a dozen wins at: Belmont, Gulfstream West (two), Mountaineer, Penn and Woodbine. There’s no first timer on today’s 3-year-old card and among the opportunities for first timers on the juvenile card, one sticks out—no trick or treat—see below. Stay safe and good luck!

If you’d like to learn a little more about how we come up with BreezeFigs, take a look at our new website by clicking here: www.biodatatrack.com and click on the tab BreezeFigs at the top of the page. In there you will find a link to a major study of how over 17,000 BreezeFigs horses from the sales 2007 through 2013 have succeeded on the racetrack based on Group and stride length. You can also access that study by clicking this link: www.biodatatrack.com/BreezeFigs-Study.pdf.

Here’s Saturday’s Pick:

2-Year-Olds

Churchill Downs, 8th Race, Maiden Special Weight, 6 Furlongs (Dirt)

Three BreezeFigs fillies in here including first-timer Little Blaze who rumbled to six-over-Par Group 2 ticket at OBSJUN where her 25.62 foot stride length (SL) was almost two feet longer than average for fillies that day at a quarter mile. However, she failed to sell (RNA) at $120k and at 20-to-1 she needs to be considered. The other first-timer, Milana, posted a one-over-Par Group 2 ticket at OBSMAR with a 25.41 foot SL, also almost a foot longer than average for fillies that day at a furlong and is considered a nice shot at 5-to-1. Easy to Bless has a very nice debut to back her three-over-Par Group 1 performance at OBSJUN where her 24.36 foot SL was a foot longer than average for fillies at a furlong. At 6-to-1 she looks tempting. This is a contentious event and you might want to watch the board here but also should use all three of them in gimmicks if it looks like that could be the best way to go. Good luck!
