RACE REPLAY IS NOT AVAILABLESometimes we get lucky, and sometimes we get very lucky. Our suggestion last week to key Journeytothemoon and Shannon resulted in a $24 payoff when the former buried her field, and a $10,000 super when the latter got up to finish fourth. The result was one of 23 times BreezeFigs 2-year-old maidens crossed the wire first, including seven times kicking off BreezeFigs exactas. Those wins came at: Aqueduct (two, including a BreezeFigs exacta), Churchill, Del Mar (three, including a BreezeFigs exacta), Fair Grounds, Gulfstream West (seven, including two BreezeFigs exactas), another at Laurel, Mahoning Valley, Mountaineer, Parx (two, including a BreezeFigs exacta), Penn (BreezeFigs exacta), Remington and Tampa Bay (BreezeFigs exacta). One 3-year-old broke its maiden at Aqueduct reflecting that those cards are dwindling. Today’s card is all over the place and we found one fluttering in the breeze, so to speak, that looks tasty, see below. Stay safe and good luck!
If you’d like to learn a little more about how we come up with BreezeFigs, take a look at our new website by clicking here: www.biodatatrack.com and click on the tab BreezeFigs at the top of the page. In there you will find a link to a major study of how over 17,000 BreezeFigs horses from the sales 2007 through 2013 have succeeded on the racetrack based on Group and stride length. You can also access that study by clicking this link: www.biodatatrack.com/BreezeFigs-Study.pdf.
Here’s Saturday’s Pick:
2-Year-Olds
Fair Grounds, 10th Race, Maiden Special Weight (Louisiana Breds), 6 Furlongs (Dirt)
Gallant Star comes in here at a juicy 4-to-1 in the morning line, ironic considering his sire is all the rage in the state. But his four-over-Par Group 2 ticket at OBSJUN with a stride length (SL) of 24.48 that was almost three-quarters of a foot longer than average for colts that day at a furlong makes him mighty tempting as a key. Thus, you may succumb to temptation. Good luck!
