At lease Giuseppe the Great had his act together to complete an exacta from last week’s Pick. Enough said. The rest of the week was pretty good for BreezeFigs maidens with a dozen of them coming home on top headed by five at Gulfstream (including two BreezeFigs exactas). The others came at Aqueduct (two), Laurel, Oaklawn and Tampa Bay (three, including two BreezeFigs exactas. Following last week’s FTFMAR sale is the OBSMAR sale this coming week, adding a trove of potential winners later this Spring. Meanwhile, Saturday's card is all over the place, but we’ve uncovered one for consideration, see below. Good luck! If you’d like to learn a little more about how we come up with BreezeFigs, take a look at our new website by clicking here: www.biodatatrack.com and click on the tab BreezeFigs at the top of the page. In there you will find a link to a major study of how over 17,000 BreezeFigs horses from the sales 2007 through 2013 have succeeded on the racetrack based on Group and stride length. You can also access that study by clicking this link: www.biodatatrack.com/BreezeFigs-Study.pdf.   Here’s Saturday’s Pick: Aqueeduct, 4th Race, Maiden Special Weight, 6 Furlongs (Inner-Dirt) This one is a bit off-the-wall. Morning line favorite is Wanztnwicked, who threw in a stinker four-under-Par Group 4 performance at OBSMAR with a 23.26 foot stride length (SL), almost a foot shorter than average for colts that day at a furlong. But he still attracted a 200k final bid, and we knew him before this and he may not be as modest as his BreezeFigs suggests. If he doesn’t get up there, another firster might do—Son of Mine, who comes out of the same sale on a different day with an eight-over-par Group 1 profile and a 24.67 foot SL, two-thirds of a foot longer than average. Apollo Landing makes his second start off a fair debut backed by an even-Par Group 1 profile at OBSAPR where his 24.26 foot SL was just over a quarter-foot longer than average—but he was scratched after breezing (SCR). He was rank in his debut and needs to settle. Romanologist threw in a weird performance at OBSJUN with a two-under-Par Group 3 profile that featured a 24.84 foot SL which was a foot longer than average, but he was not impressive in his debut. In a race this illogical, we would key on Son of Mine and Wanztbwicked, and let the chips fall where they may. Good luck!
