Even if you did trust our skepticism you still would have done well with our 2-year-old Saratoga Pick last week as our keys, Carpe All Day and Seal Beach finished second and third to the one we tossed in as a skeptical saver, Chattalot for a BreezeFigs trifecta. A few races earlier War Smoke, our 3-year-old Pick, just failed get up in the last strides but still fulfilled his key duty in the exacta. While only two 3-year-old BreezeFigs maidens won last week (at Arlington and Presque Isle), 11 other BreezeFigs maiden juvenile came home on top including another at Saratoga (BreezeFigs exacta). The rest were at Colonial, Del Mar, Ellis (BreezeFigs exacta), Evangeline, Gulfstream (three, including a BreezeFigs exacta) Monmouth, Prairie Meadows and Woodbine Today’s cards are kind of wild and we have selected three, including one Pick we’ve never tried before, see below. Stay safe and good luck! If you’d like to learn a little more about how we come up with BreezeFigs, take a look at our new website by clicking here: www.biodatatrack.com and click on the tab BreezeFigs at the top of the page. In there you will find a link to a major study of how over 17,000 BreezeFigs horses from the sales 2007 through 2013 have succeeded on the racetrack based on Group and stride length. You can also access that study by clicking this link: www.biodatatrack.com/BreezeFigs-Study.pdf. Here’s Saturday’s Pix: 3-Year-Olds: Ellis Park, 10th Race, Maiden Special Weight, 1 ¼ Miles (Turf) You hardly ever see a 10-furlong maiden special anywhere but at Saratoga but Ellis has tossed this one into the mix and there’s a BreezeFigs colt who might be the key. Foreign Relations chalked up a decent one-under-Par Group 3 effort at OBSAPR last year with a 25.31 foot stride length (SL), about a third of a foot longer than average for colts that day at a quarter mile. If he can settle and keep going he has a serious chance of bringing home a ticket here as a key. 2-Year-Olds: Del Mar, 7th Race, Maiden Special Weight, 5 ½ Furlongs (Dirt) You won’t get much back if you key the only two BreezeFigs fillies in here but Bicameral and Dance to the Music are very contentious propositions. Both come out of OBSAPR where Bicameral posted an even-Par Group 2 ticket with a 24.15 foot SL, which was three-quarters of a foot longer than average for fillies that day at a quarter mile; she was not sold (RNA), however, on a final bid of 120k, so that doesn’t appear in her PP’s. On the other hand Dance to the Music stomped all over the numbers with a nine-over-Par Group 2 performance that featured a 26.22 foot SL—more than two feet longer than average that day for fillies at a furlong—no wonder she brought $525k. There you go. Prairie Meadows, 4th Race, Maiden Special Weight, 4 ½ Furlongs (Dirt) Taylor’s Secret is the lone BreezeFigs filly in here and she is likely to get pounded on the tote which would frank her form at OBSAPR where she posted a five-over-Par Group 1 ticket with a 24.96 foot SL that was more than a foot longer than the average for fillies that day at a furlong. Logical key. Good luck!
