BreezeFigs Quick-Pix Saturday, January 30, 2021 by Bob Fierro & Jay Kilgore
Even though Miss Tulsa, our longshot gimmick, didn’t succeed at least our other playable gimmick Marion Francis completed the exacta at Oaklawn as favorite; our second Pick is still running at Turfway. During the week a whopping 18 BreezeFigs maidens came home on top, four of them kicking off BreezeFigs exactas. These results came at Aqueduct (three, including a BreezeFigs exacta), Charles Town, Delta (BreezeFigs exacta), Gulfstream (three), Laurel (two), Oaklawn (two, including a BreezeFigs exacta), Parx (BreezeFigs exacta), Santa Anita (three), and Tampa Bay (two). Today’s card has some promising races but all are likely to be affected by the weather and scratches. Still, there is a chance that our Pick will run see below. Stay safe and good luck!
If you’d like to learn a little more about how we come up with BreezeFigs, take a look at our new website by clicking here: www.biodatatrack.com and click on the tab BreezeFigs at the top of the page. In there you will find a link to a major study of how over 17,000 BreezeFigs horses from the sales 2007 through 2013 have succeeded on the racetrack based on Group and stride length. You can also access that study by clicking this link: www.biodatatrack.com/BreezeFigs-Study.pdf.
Here’s Saturday’s Pick:
Santa Anita, 1st Race, Maiden Special Weight, 6 Furlongs (Dirt)
Bossy Mama comes into this race sporting a four-over-Par Group 1 ticket at OBSAPR where she clocked a 25.01 foot stride length (SL), a half-foot longer than average that day for fillies at a quarter mile. You’re not likely to make a fortune on her but she is definitely worth pursuing. Good luck!
