At least we got the winner right last week as Forty Winds (whom we liked as a straight bet) won impressively—and though we didn’t care much for her, She’s Delightful, completed a $19.40 BreezeFigs exacta. On the same day at Gulfstream, first-time starter and longest shot on the board Ms Peintour absolutely hammered to a $133 payoff—someone wasn’t paying attention to her five-over-Par Group 1 profile at OBSJUN where she showed a 25.08 foot stride length. These two fillies were among the dozen BreezeFigs maidens who won last week, along with another one at Aqueduct, and three more at Gulfstream including a $2,347 BreezeFigs superfecta (along with a $121 BreezeFigs exacta and $1,373 BreezeFigs trifecta) kicked off by Queen Fantabulous ($19.40) the next day. The other winners came at Fair Grounds (two), Laurel (a BreezeFigs trifecta), Los Alamitos, Penn National (BreezeFigs exacta) and Woodbine. There are some interesting races today but also bad weather in some forecasts, but we found a sneaky one, see below. Good luck!

Los Alamitos Race Course, 6th Race, Maiden Claiming ($30,000), 5 ½ Furlongs (Dirt)
The only BreezeFigs horse in the race, Derby Kingdom did quite well in his two-over-Par Group 1 breeze at OBSAPR where his 24.41 foot stride length was almost half a foot longer than average for colts that day at a furlong. Yet, he only sold for $11k, so he can’t be considered a star, but at 15-to-1 in the morning line here he might be a pretty good gimmick bet.. Good luck!
