BreezeFigs Quick-Pix Saturday, December 7, 2019 by Bob Fierro & Jay Kilgore
Fairy Diva (GB), our Pick at Aqueduct, wound up in a rodeo of sorts and was lucky to not go down while finishing fourth. Then our Pick at Churchill Fire Coral pooped out early but by then our gimmick play Street of Dreams had wrapped up her victory as the favorite. Split decision. Between then and now, 25 BreezeFigs maidens won last week, a near record for this feature, with seven of them kicking off BreezeFigs gimmicks and an additional seven winning stakes races. Wow. Here’s where the maiden winners scored: Aqueduct (six, including a BreezeFigs trifecta); Churchill (five, including a BreezeFigs exacta); Del Mar (two); Fair Grounds (two, including a BreezeFigs exacta); Gulfstream (six, including two BreezeFigs exactas and a BreezeFigs super); Remington; Tampa Bay; Woodbine (two, including a BreezeFigs exacta). Today’s card has several really decent opportunities but one where you’ll have to do a lot of the digging yourself, see below. Good luck!
If you’d like to learn a little more about how we come up with BreezeFigs, take a look at our new website by clicking here: www.biodatatrack.comhttp://www.biodatatrack.com and click on the tab BreezeFigs at the top of the page. In there you will find a link to a major study of how over 17,000 BreezeFigs horses from the sales 2007 through 2013 have succeeded on the racetrack based on Group and stride length. You can also access that study by clicking this link: www.biodatatrack.com/BreezeFigs-Study.pdf.
Here’s Saturday’s Pick:
Aqueduct, 7th Race, Maiden Special Weight, 6 Furlongs (Dirt)
Seven of the dozen colts in this race are BreezeFigs graduates, and four of them are first-time starters. All of them have a chance of winning and all of them have a shot at filling in a gimmick or two. Rather that detail all their credential, we’ll just say that you should get the card and figure out what you can do based on our study of what has to be one of the toughest races of the year. First timers Bad Beat Brian, Two Point Oh, King Khozan and The Angry Man all have decent profiles but we think that probable favorite Two Point Oh is the strongest of this group. Of the other three who have started we suppose Trash Talker is likely to get a lot of money based on his record to day (only one bad effort in three starts) while Hedonistic has a stronger shot at a gimmick placing than does Ego Man. We’d probably key Two Point Oh and Trash Talker and throw in whichever one (or ones) of the others look like it might be taking money. Good luck!
