Our Churchill horses finished third (at 66-to-1) and fourth to complete juicy trifectas and superfectas. The Calder pick we selected was off the board -- but the winner was a $17 BreezeFigs horse. Also on the sheet that day was a firster at Hollywood that paid $88. So get that sheet for Saturday and look for stride length (SL) tips . There are a a lot of opportunities today, but we've got two that look mighty fine.

Laurel Park, , Maiden Special, Mile

First-timer My Lioness only had an even Par BreezeFig at 1/8 at the EASMAY sale, but it was good enough for Group 1 at that sale -- and her 24.08 SL was a foot longer than other fillies working at the same distance that day. Pounce on her.

Zia Park, , Maiden Special, 5 1/2 Furlongs

Tuffest may not have had the longest SL at the OBSAPR sale (just under 22 feet, a quarter foot shorter than the average that day), but he was quick enough to get a two-over Par, Group 2 BreezeFig at 1/8 mile. He's been working steadily, and doesn't look like he might have that much to beat on a track that favors quick horses. Use him.
